The OolaSeeker: The Key to My Comeback

The OolaSeeker: The Key to My Comeback

Everyone loves a good comeback story. We saw it in our first book, “Oola: Find Balance in an Unbalanced World”. In the book, the OolaSeeker opens up about his slide to rock-bottom before he called the OolaGuru and began his journey back to his OolaLife. People we’ve met since can identify with his trials, even if they have never gone through them personally.

Even more, they connect with his walk in faith. They see where the path to Oola has led him and commit themselves, like him, to not settle for ordinary when extraordinary is within them. They understand none of us can go back and start over. Instead, we can start today and make a new ending.

“Bad things happen,” the OolaSeeker admitted. “But then you hear about someone without food or shelter living on $2 a day. A lot of the choices you make from that point are decided by your attitude toward it. If you feel you’re a victim, you’ll probably stay where you are. But that’s not who you are. I might have gone through bad times, but I changed my mindset.”

He set aside his pride and dug in, determined to return to the philosophies that he first embraced while meeting with a group of friends in Las Vegas years earlier.

As you’ll see in our next book, Oola for Women, coming out May 2, he’s not alone. Thousands of others have taken control of their lives and found balance in all 7 key areas of life - fitness, finance, family, field, faith, friends and fun.

“When you know where you are at this exact moment, you can start making the little choices and changes that will bring you through it all,” the OolaSeeker said. “Set goals for yourself, and take action on them every day.”

Be grateful and have faith. God can make amazing things happen. When you see areas of personal weakness and honestly assess your position on the OolaWheel, “Think, ‘What can I do? Where do I want to go?’” he said. “And you’ll change during your journey to an OolaLife, so you’ll want to review your goals each year, or even every six months, to reflect upon where you are now.”

Reach out when you find others struggling. Share your time, talents and money to make the world a better place. Remember to be grateful, even for the tough times that have helped bring you to where you are today.

You have so much offer to yourself and others as you move forward.
